22-3-2006 Flo master prototyped
We've approved the Flo master. From being born inside a stereolithography machine to a desirable vase proved to be a challenging quest.

31-3-2006 Flo press release
Studio bizq sends the Flo press release into the world. Immediately "Interior Design" shows an interest. Several other magazines (Dutch and International) follow in the weeks after.

8-5-2006 1st production run
The first 3 Flo vases have been cast:
1-1/3 (black)
1-2/3 (white)
1-3/3 (green)
We now know the Flo could not have been made in any other way. The complex shapes are only possible in a silicone mould.

15-5-2006 Flo in Tulp Magazine
Tulp Magazine is the first magazine to feature the Flo.

17-5-2006 Flo on sale at Endavid
The first three casts have been put on sale at Endavid independent design. David Cassuto runs a unique shop as a liaison between great new designs created by independent designers and the customers who want them. He sees the Flo as "the next logical evolution in decorative design". We couldn't agree with him more.

22-5-2006 1st Special is ordered
1st special in "traffic red" is commissioned by a customer in Leiden, The Netherlands. Normally, specials can only be ordered from 5 pieces or more. This customer was however happy to pay for the custom pigment.

24-5-2006 Flo Packaging
Studio Bizq designed a custom clear acetate packaging for the Flo. Decals were printed and CNC cut to deliver a professional result.
The packaging also functions as a portable showcase to attract attention in the street. (photo's in the gallery section)

26-5-2006 Flo in Vivenda (Dutch)
Vivenda Magazine is the second magazine to feature the Flo and compliment it with an entire page!

30-5-2006 2nd production run
The 2nd production run is a fact. With the growing interest in the Flo en the first deliveries the time was ripe for another run.

2-6-2006 International interest
In the last few weeks requests for hires image material have been received from China, Vietnam, Russia and Mexico. The Flo seems to have an international audience! Impressions of these postings can be found in the media section soon.

1-3-2007 New image material
New photographs have been made by Margareth Doorduin. She's a Royal Academy of Art (The Hague) graduate and made excellent photographs of the Flo vase. They can be found in the gallery section.
